Job Summary

The Supply Services Branch is responsible for providing full-service inventory management and product distribution to ministries, Crown corporations and other government-funded organizations. The services include mail, scanning, office products, protocol items, printing, publishing, surplus asset disposal, electronic media destruction, warehousing, and supply chain services for the Province.

Services provided by BCMP include mail processing, mail preparation and distribution, mail payment and document processing, high volume variable digital printing, electronic document scanning and verification, personal identity card production, and employee household relocation.

The position is responsible for providing administrative and financial support services for BC Mail Plus.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two (2) years clerical/administrative support experience
  • A minimum one (1) year experience in basic accounting or bookkeeping
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Working Experience in using administrative and organizational filing systems.
  • Experience with a financial application; SAP Financial Environment preferred.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until March 29, 2025. A permanent appointment may result from this temporary appointment
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
The position headquarters will be in Victoria.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future permanent and/or temporary vacancies across the Ministry of Citizens’ Services.
