Job Summary

The Intersection Safety Camera Officer (ISCO) is responsible for charging all Intersection Safety Camera offences within the Intersection Safety Camera Program and for prosecution of those violation tickets in traffic courts around the province.

Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12 graduation with work experience in the areas of security, public safety or program administration.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

  • Experience using computers to enter and manage data, edit images, and file documents electronically.
  • Experience providing customer or client service in a high conflict environment.
  • Experience speaking in public or delivering presentations to customers or colleagues.


Provisos:

  • Travelling, including long distance driving (6 - 8 hours) up to four times per year is a requirement of this position.
  • Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.
  • Must be able to successfully complete Standardized Traffic Control Training.
