Required Qualifications:
Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, and staff.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills.
Willing to be an integral member of the Chinook Transportation team.
Values the mission, vision, values and goals of Chinook School Division.
Has attained a minimum of Grade 10.
Minimum Journeyperson’s Designation.
Experience in working on related vehicles is an asset.
Good mechanical ability with strong capabilities in the area of troubleshooting.
Strong background and knowledge of safe workplace practices.
Proficient in the use of required tools and equipment.
Good physical condition.
Experience with gas and diesel engines is an asset.
Strong technical skills.
Hold and maintain a valid “Class 1-5” driver’s license.
A willingness to obtain a 1A driver’s classification.

Pay range: $29.82 to $33.79 per hour
