Role Summary:

As a Senior Marketing Broker, you will play a vital role in negotiating new business and renewal terms with insurance markets. Acting as a liaison between account executives and underwriters, you'll ensure the highest quality service for our clients while meeting the needs of underwriters.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000

Responsibilities:

• Assess risks for new and renewal business with underwriters.
• Prepare submissions and track the renewal process for assigned books of business.
• Negotiate rating, terms, and conditions with underwriters.
• Provide recommendations on coverages to account executives.
• Serve as a technical wording expert for the commercial team.
• Bind new, renewal, and mid-term changes.
• Process cover notes and provide clear instructions for proposals, certificate issuance, and invoicing.
• Mentor and offer technical support to the commercial team.
• Assist account executives during client meetings and attend industry and broker functions.
• Foster solid relationships with insurers.

Qualifications:

• Level 2 General Insurance License.
• CAIB, CIP, or CRM designation is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial broking.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with EPIC is an asset.
