As the Specialist in the Pharmacy Systems Training and Communications team, you will have the opportunity to step into an exciting opportunity as a key member of our diverse training team. You'll play an important role in supporting and contributing to the creation of engaging training materials and communications for pharmacy systems. Dive into the world of Pharmacy Management Systems and ancillary pharmacy systems, ensuring our Pharmacy teams are equipped with the knowledge they need to thrive. Plus, you'll be able to directly engage in delivering system training when needed, adding a dynamic element to your role.

• Understands pharmacy practice requirements and effectively communicates them through written, verbal, and recorded training materials.
• Assess pharmacy system changes, enhancements, and issues to identify communication needs. Responsible for crafting and maintaining communications, training aids and user documents.
• Acts as a Pharmacy Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) with cross-functional teams, other departments, and external vendors.
• Works closely with pharmacy teams and interdepartmental groups to create communications that educate on system enhancements, changes to processes and other updates that impact pharmacy systems. Supports multiple pharmacy teams across Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart.
• Provides support in the creation of various training materials, including documents, videos, and online resources. Supports creation of training and communications across multiple projects. Travel may be required.

• Demonstrates initiative and judgment to organize and prioritize tasks, workload, and projects. Requires courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in everyday working relationships.
• Pays close attention to details, ensuring accurate and thorough work with meticulous record-keeping. Possesses high level of Microsoft and other documentation software skills for producing effective documentation, presentations, and system maintenance.
• Communicates clearly both verbally and in writing, with proficiency in composing clear documents. Demonstrates knowledge of the pharmacy industry, including eHealth jurisdictions and understanding of pharmacy regulations impacting practice
• Ability to facilitate groups of learners in both classroom and virtual settings.
• Requires knowledge and experience in HealthWATCH and/or Kroll, with familiarity in other pharmacy applications being an asset.
