Northern Lights Public Schools invites applications for the following position:
S2425-01 Preschool Assistant - Vera M Welsh Elementary Preschool
We are seeking a full-time (1.0 fte) position commencing at the start of the 2024-2025 school year. The assignment includes assisting with the instruction of preschool aged children, Monday to Friday, 6.5 hours a day. Our preschool program offers learning and growth through play opportunities involving music, arts and crafts, physical activity and more.
Preference will be given to applicants who have :
Early Learning and Child Care Certification - Minimum Level 2 Child Development Worker (training available)
First Aid Certification
Experience/training in childcare and related fields
A sincere desire to work with preschool aged children
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
