Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You will develop and deliver on business priorities and improving the Client Experience through execution of sales plans to acquire new Treasury Solutions clients and sell additional Treasury services to existing clients within assigned market territory; you will provide focused financial advice and solutions to meet the clients business and financial goals. You will partner with Commercial Financial Services (CFS) staff and other colleagues across RBC Financial Group to drive client loyalty and build long-term profitable client relationships. This position involves sales over the phone and via WebEx. You will work in collaboration with all your business partners, and deliver an exceptional client experience and bring all of RBC to our clients.What will you do?Lead with a growth mindset, focusing on what's possible to maximize client acquisition, growth and an exceptional client experienceAct as the single point of contact throughout the cash management end-to-end onboarding process, partner with the relationship team and follow up with clients to ensure an exceptional client experienceDemonstrate digital IQ by building awareness and encouraging clients to fully leverage digital solutions on an ongoing basis to optimize their business's operationsDeliver financial and business "Insight" advice through a differentiated value proposition by presenting solutions that clearly articulate the benefits and advantages to the client; help the client to understand alternatives, navigate and implement proposed solutions; and identify opportunities and refer clients to RBC Partners to meet the client's broader advice needsEducate the client with new or emerging issues that will impact their business by providing the client with unique, valuable insights on the client's industry, business or marketPlan and prioritize client and market activities to win as One RBC, seeking referral opportunities for the relationship team, National Specialized Solutions (NSS) and other RBC partnersGather insights through client discovery to identify a broad range of solutions to further anchor clients to RBC and increase share of walletPartner with the Commercial Account Managers (CAM) and Associate Account Managers (AAM) to develop a coordinated client contact strategy, ensuring future client needs are identified and metWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have:Great collaboration skills5+ years of business and commercial banking experience in a financial services environment including knowledge of investment and current account operations, analyzing, presenting, negotiating and closing deals (Cash Management referral experience preferred)Strong client focus, highly organized, and strong ability to incorporate sales disciplines into day-to-day activities and routinesExperience with commercial markets clients, and deep industry specializationProven ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast paced environment this is an intense high volume transaction sales role requiring above average organizational skills and a proven capacity for coping with incoming and ongoing call/email volumesCuriosity and willingness to learn new skills while building partnerships with stakeholders and fostering team workExcellent verbal communication skills; notably the ability to illustrate with words the impact of the recommended solutions on the client's business relationshipsEmbrace change with the ability to pivot and be agileEntrepreneurial spirit, with a strong business development mindset to grow and develop your business opportunities, and proactively identify opportunities to make partner referralsWorking knowledge of software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power PointNice to have:Attained the CTP - Certified Treasury Professional designationHave worked at a financial institution for a minimum of 10 yearsWhats in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
