Job Description

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and culinary experiences for our client
  • Work closely with culinary team, vendors, and clients to coordinate and execute a diverse range of catering events, from daily corporate lunches to special events and meetings
  • Coordinate menu planning meetings with client and culinary teams to ensure alignment and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand catering needs and preferences, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and services
  • Oversee the scheduling, training, and performance of catering staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Identify opportunities for additional offerings and continued business development
  • Monitor catering trends and industry best practices to continuously improve our offerings and services
  • Maintain accurate records of catering expenses, revenue, and customer feedback, and provide regular reports to management
  • Ensure health and safety standards are strictly observed by all staff working during set-up for events and event day

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in high-end Catering Management, dealing with complex conferences and events
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial management skills re: financial analysis, procurement of vendor services etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and catering management software
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
