The impact you will have:

As an Enterprise Security Strategist, you will be at the forefront of helping our customers envision and modernize their Security landscape. You’ll play a pivotal role by leveraging our unique security services and security product portfolio to generate interest, guide sales, and deliver innovate security solutions that elevate our customers’ security posture and resilience. As one of North America's top technology solution providers, you will ensure that our enterprise customers experience the distinctive, business-focused value our brand represents.

What you'll do:

  • Assume full accountability for Security Solution sales for customers over 2000 users.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to design and execute customer security strategies.
  • Take the lead for selling medium and large sized security solutions, overseeing the entire sales cycle and assembling workgroups across different departments to design and develop proposals and projects for customers.
  • Identify, nurture, and streamline security opportunities (including product and services), coordinating with PreSales and Services resources as needed, as well as fostering existing projects to identify new opportunities or extensions within existing accounts, contributing to upselling efforts.
  • Foster deeper relationships with key customers, providing security-focused deal coaching and actively participating in major strategic customer engagements.
  • Contribute to building relationships with Softchoice’s Security vendors and partners.
  • Serve as an evangelist for our company's security initiatives, representing us at high-level industry events and conferences
  • Target achievement and business growth focused on security solutions, ensuring monthly forecasts are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
  • Leadership in Security Sales pursuits, including leading pursuit teams across various security technologies.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Sales Leaders to develop initiatives focused on achieving sales objectives and building loyalty among our top customers.
  • Engage in high-level discussions with technical and senior leadership, regarding security impact and efficacy approaching security from a risk-based perspective.
  • Craft tailored content addressing unique security scenarios and simplifying complex security topics for stakeholder understanding.
  • Present effectively to audiences of various sizes and levels including C-suite and diplomatically challenge client assumptions.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in the cybersecurity industry, with over 5 years in technical sales or presales for security-focused technology solutions.
    • Expertise in consultative security sales and presales.
    • Demonstrated security industry expertise through contributions to security groups.
  • Credentials and Expertise:
    • Possession of 2+ security-related certifications across multiple vendors.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in driving security-focused digital transformation solution sales.
    • Demonstrated security credibility in front of medium and large customers.
    • Experience as CISO, CSO, or equivalent Security Leadership, bridging technically and business gap is an asset.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding and application of security strategies and best practices.
    • Proficiency in articulating security solutions' value proposition to resonate with customer needs.
    • Ability to align business outcomes and initiatives with security requirements.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially when presenting security concepts to senior executives.
    • Self-management and strong leadership skills.
    • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, within your Sales District.
