Registered Practical Nurse - Veterans Centre K2W - Regular part-time 2023-6258

Summary of Duties RPNs are responsible for the total care of a group of residents within a primary nursing care delivery model within their scope of practice. The RPN supports the Philosophy of Patient-Focused Care concept and principles and the Mission and Values of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The RPN works closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.   Qualifications/Skills Current Ontario College of Nurses Registration required Current BCLS certification required RPN Diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year geriatric nursing experience is required Minimum of one year complex continuing care and dementia care experience Keen interest in working with the elderly Patient and family focused care philosophy required Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience with primary nursing an asset Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
