Student – Podcast Producer

The Centre for Injury Prevention at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre launched the Injury is Not Equal (INE) podcast in 2021. The INE podcast aims to highlight inequities in injury and injury prevention https://sunnybrook.ca/content/?page=inequity-injury. We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented individual to join our team as a student podcast producer. This position is remote.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Oversee production aspects for “Injury is Not Equal” podcast series; including recording, editing and distributing completed episodes
• Work with other members of the team to research guests, develop content and prepare host notes
• Preparing production schedule and promotion of podcast through various platforms

Qualifications/Skills

• Student in Faculty of Media & Creative Arts or related
• Operating knowledge of audio-editing software
• Excellent communication skills
• Task oriented and able to meet specific deadlines
• Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing needs
