West Lynn Heights is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school with 235 students located in Lynn Lake, Manitoba, approximately 3½ hours by vehicle northwest of Thompson, Manitoba. The area’s natural beauty provides for an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities. Dozens of lakes and rivers in the surrounding region make Lynn Lake a popular hunting and fishing destination.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education Degree
Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
A sound knowledge of Manitoba Middle Years curricula
Previous Middle Years teaching experience
A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology
Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life
Strong classroom management skills
Experience working with students with unique needs
A commitment to differentiated instruction
A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices
A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn
Self-motivated
