I'm currently working with one of my clients in the distribution sector. Located in the east end of Montreal, this company is looking for a warehouse supervisor.
Main responsabilities :
-Plan, coordinate and supervise daily operations:
-Receive goods, place and pick products for order picking;
-Optimize the functional layout of warehouse products;
-Ensure excellent service at the picking counter;
-Apply safety and prevention rules in accordance with the company's OHS standards and policies.
In the event of replacement, the incumbent will be required to supervise the following activities :
-Merchandise returns;
-Shipping of customer orders;
pick-up counter.
-Supervise the work of warehouse clerks:
-Ensure the training of new employees and the development of each team member;
-Administer corrective and disciplinary measures;
-Conduct probationary and annual employee appraisals;
-Maintain effective communication and develop a good working climate and relationships.
-Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
-Demonstrate leadership skills;
-Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage priorities and work under pressure while maintaining a smile and courtesy;
-Demonstrate a strong aptitude for teamwork, and be able to motivate and listen to your employees;
-Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills.
-College diploma (DEC) or equivalent experience;
-At least 3 years' experience in supervision and distribution;
-Good knowledge of the Office suite.
PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
