Construction Demathieu & Bard (CDB) Inc. is the Canadian subsidiary of Demathieu Bard, a company based in France with over 160 years of experience in the construction industry, and has been operating in Canada since 1997.
CDB specializes in major infrastructure construction and rehabilitation and is known for its innovative, complex construction methodologies and adaptability when undertaking challenging projects. As the general contractor, construction manager, and/or project manager, CDB continues to successfully deliver complex and challenging projects, particularly heavy infrastructure projects such as bridges, canals, dams, tunnels, culverts and viaducts.
Job Summary
As the warehouse and yard maintenance summer student, you will support the Materials & Equipment coordinator with the yard up-keep and warehouse maintenance. In September, the student may stay on part-time as their school schedule permits.
Responsibilities
· Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment
· Warehouse maintenance and cleanup
· Yard up-keep including mowing the loan around the building and collecting trash
· Assist with the office maintenance and basic fixes around the office
· Support Equipment Coordinator when required
Work Conditions
· Up to 50 hours a week based on project requirements
· Working outdoor
· Asset: Clean driving record and driver's license
· Handling weight up to 20 kg
