SAP S/4 Center of Excellence (CoE) Operations Manager

The SAP S4 CoE’s mandate is to deliver and/or manage the delivery of SAP services for BRPs SAP S4 solution to be thought leaders in the SAP S4 domain, to support the solution, to resolve incidents, to implement enhancements, and to support project delivery while also protecting the integrity of the solution.

This role is intended to define and operate the go forward operating model for the SAP S4 CoE and identify the supporting processes, tools, reporting and people that will be required to deliver on that operating model. Although you do not need to be an SAP expert, you must be a service delivery thought leader and have a track record of empowering teams to deliver excellent services and support!

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Leadership:

  • Work with stakeholders to clearly articulate SAP S4 CoE service offerings.
  • Define the processes with roles and responsibilities required to deliver the SAP S4 CoE service offerings.
  • Define the integration points and governance model/cadence needed to effectively deliver the SAP S4 CoE service offerings.
  • Define and implement the metrics/reporting that will be used to measure and improve the SAP S4 CoE service delivery.
  • Identify and monitor stakeholder needs and identify new service offerings as required.
  • Continuously improve the team and stakeholder perception of the team.

Service Delivery:

  • Track/report on Service delivery versus committed ETAs for the SAP S/4 CoE partner Ecosystem (e.g., TCS, CGI, etc.).
  • Work with the business and IT business partners to prioritize and manage service delivery (e.g., defects, enhancements, projects, etc.) for the SAP S4 CoE and its partners.
  • Manage the partner ecosystem hours against available budget.
  • Work with the finance team to keep the SAP S4 CoE operating within the available budget.
  • Work with the compliance team to keep CoE operations team aligned and executing with all BRP compliance guidelines and timelines.

Resourcing:

  • Process the onboarding and offboarding of resources.
  • Monitor and report on contractor expiry and renewals.

Reporting:

  • Identify and report on all the key measures needed to manage the SAP S4 CoE as well as to provide team clients/stakeholders with an accurate view of team performance/service delivery.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as information technology or business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communications and collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing Teams in a matrix organization.
  • Experience operating a software support organization.
  • Experience managing professional services contracts and contractors.
  • Experience/understanding of the requirements of IT controls/compliance is desirable.
  • Experience with ITIL/ITSM is beneficial.
  • The ability to communicate in English is a requirement to work with international business partners.
