Description
Evergreen School Division has the following 2024-2025 permanent teaching position available,
effective September 3, 2024 (possibility of orientation term May to June 2024)
Arborg and Riverton Schools 1.0FTE Band Teacher
Gr. 7 - 12 Band (may include choral; additional or alternative instrumental/musical programming may be considered)
Closing Date: April 29, 2024 or until a suitable candidate is found
Qualifications:
A valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
Certification and teaching experience in Band
Knowledge and experience in current instructional / assessment practices
Ability/desire to develop strong relationships with students and staff
A willingness / ability to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the school
Experience with a variety of learning needs
Knowledge of strategies re: Indigenous Education and Inclusion
Commitment to involvement in a highly collaborative school culture
Knowledge and experience in current instructional / assessment practice
