Horizon School Division is committed to engaging and empowering all learners and prioritizes strong instruction, response to intervention, and wellness.

Assignment includes supporting a variety of student needs at a Junior/Senior High School level.

Hours of work : Monday - Thursday 8:20 a.m. - 3:52 p.m.

Lomond Community School is a K - 12 school located 1 hour north of Lethbridge. Many of our staff carpool out to Lomond. We support 100 students with a staff of 15. LCS runs on a 4-day school week. We are a collaborative environment where support staff are encouraged to share their insight into student learning. Nearly 50% of our school population is EAL, so an understanding of the Low German culture is an advantage.

We are currently looking for someone who is passionate about student learning. The successful candidate must be able to see and act upon teachable moments and work independently. Relationships are at the core of our program; any candidate should be passionate about seeing students succeed.
