ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Established almost 30 years ago, our client prides themselves on providing innovative and effective legal solutions to their clients. They are industry experts on multiple practice areas such as Civil Litigation, Insolvency, Wills & Estates and Real Estate. With a total of over 40 staff, they’re now looking to add an experienced Conveyancer to their team!

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Starting mainly on residential real estate, you’ll be given the opportunity to also take on commercial real estate files down the line. Not only that, but you’ll also have the chance to take full control of your files, taking them from start to finish, all on your own!
ABOUT THE POSITION
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Opening/closing files
• Handling instructions from realtors and lenders
• Performing due diligence on searches
• Preparing conveyancing documents
• Handling transactions from start to finish
• Handling Land Title registrations
• Disbursing funds
• Managing final reports

THE REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of conveyancing experience in a law firm
• Experience in handling residential properties is a MUST
• A Legal Assistant Certificate or related is an asset
• Proficiency in E-Conveyance is an asset

COMPENSATION

• $50,000 - $65,000
• 3 weeks vacation
• Health and dental coverage
