Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
Pay Rate: $25.65/hr
Shift: 6pm - 6:30am (12 Hr Shift Schedule)

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for taking product off our lines and storing it in our warehouse(s), re-arranging product in the warehouse, operating the palletizer and wrapper as needed, and ensuring proper storage of product per date codes. Other responsibilities include completing required documentation, stripping trailers, checking trailers, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in 12Hr shift Production schedule
  • Must be available on weekdays to complete training before going to 12Hr shift schedule
  • Basic computer skills. Some data entry may be required.
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Must be able to read and write English as there is a strong possibility of injury to self or others due to nature of work
  • Forklift experience, preference will be given to individuals with a Forklift Certificate
  • Problem-solving skills along with the ability to troubleshoot machine problems and make adjustments as necessary
  • Team player who shows initiative, reliability, and flexibility

Major Physical Demands:

  • Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 50 lbs
  • Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs. (with the aid of a mechanical device)
  • Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder
