Benefits


The incumbent shall administer the RAI program and is responsible for planning, assessing the quality of documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and all follow-up on results of the data. Must provide computer support of this software and the necessary training for all users. This position may be called to support the nursing staff team for any task within their competence or any other task requested by the supervisor for the efficiency of the service.

Requested skills

Requirements:

  • Must have a RPN certificate from the Ontario College of Nurses.
  • Have at least one year of work experience as a registered practical nurse in the long-term care sector.
  • Have at least two years of work experience as a project coordinator in a health care environment.
  • Demonstrate leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the long-term care sector classification system (RAI-MDS), MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook as well as Med e-care software.
  • Be bilingual, spoken and written.

Asset:

• Experience in long-term and palliative care would be an asset.

A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
