Int. Communications Manager to support Data & Analytics team for our large banking client - 63151

Location: Downtown Toronto (hybrid - 1x/week)

Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension or FT)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Communications for Data & Analytics, the Communications Manager will help deliver creative and innovative communications solutions that effectively support and address communications needs. Has a passion for story-telling and turns effective communication solutions into strong narratives. Strong writing skills, resourceful and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to various stakeholders. The selected resource will be supporting both internal and external communications. They will be providing articles for internal channels and strategic thought leadership for executives, but also supporting external presentations and media stories (ie LinkedIn posts).

Must Have Skills:

• 5-7 yrs of experience in a communications role (handling both internal & external comms)
• Ability to take technical and complex information and distill it to key messages that make sense for the audience.
• Creating presentation decks/PowerPoint slides
• Post-secondary degree in in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related

Nice to Have Skills:

• Banking/Financial Industry experience
• Video editing skills are a nice to have
• Experience with project level communication (users) an asset
• Event management experience a nice to have
