Your mission is to ensure the management, configuration, evolution and maintenance of the company’s internal IT infrastructure and the client’s hosted infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure cloud computing environment. You must also ensure the proper management of customer relations and technological intelligence in infrastructure and security.

Main responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning, design, implementation and stabilization of the Microsoft Azure cloud computing environment in the enterprise;
  • Participate in the development of the infrastructure architecture to ensure that software products are designed for successful deployment, strong security and high availability in the Microsoft Azure cloud computing environment;
  • Respond to requests related to infrastructure provisioning, technical analysis and design for migration or optimization of infrastructures hosted in Microsoft Azure, estimation of deployment efforts, etc. for existing or potential customers;
  • Participate in the design, implementation and support of server, storage, network and security infrastructures;
  • Participate in the design and implementation of the automation of services provided by the Microsoft Azure cloud computing environment;
  • Ensure the operational monitoring of the load, perform monitoring and verify the availability and integrity of servers, systems and processes hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment;
  • Ensure that infrastructure components meet appropriate performance and capacity standards;
  • Ensure that software solutions are maintained to provide a high level of availability, scalability, security and compatibility;
  • Participate in the design and implementation of proofs of concept for servers, storage, network, security, etc.;
  • Leverage technical skills and provide leadership to diagnose and resolve problems;
  • Contribute to Microsoft partnership management by maintaining harmonious relationships with Microsoft business and technical stakeholders;
  • Participate in consulting and technology watch activities, keep up to date with industry standards and emerging technologies in order to provide recommendations on new trends and act as an expert in infrastructure management for internal teams and clients;
  • Ensuring, when necessary, interaction with internal teams and external clients;
  • Produce relevant technical documentation on a regular basis and for R&D purposes.

Requested skills

Profil desired

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in computer technology or equivalent;
  • Asset: First degree (certificate, bachelor’s degree) in software engineering, information technology management, network management option or in a related field;
  • Advanced mastery of the Azure cloud computing environment and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platforms: cloud computing technologies and cloud computing trends and perspectives (service models, deployment models, Microsoft Azure offerings);
  • Advanced mastery of Windows environments, including O365, and associated administration tools, including Microsoft Active Directory (AD);
  • Advanced mastery of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WLAN/WAN and DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP services, etc.);
  • Advanced mastery of client equipment administration tools;
  • Advanced mastery of the Microsoft Azure cloud computing environment;
  • Knowledge of established IT service management techniques and processes related to service quality and customer relations;
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft .NET development environment: Visual Studio and TFS (Team Foundation Server);
  • Understand the objectives, benefits and main functionalities of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV;
  • Curious, autonomous, proactive, dynamic, motivated and passionate about new technologies;
  • Ability to deliver highly reliable results as well as a good management of priorities and time;
  • Ability to easily integrate and evolve in a dynamic and changing environment;
  • Ease in providing simple solutions to complex business needs and/or technical contexts;
  • English essential, both written and spoken.
