The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the entire sales process and as a result will be able to prospect for clients and close deals. Gifted with a great sense of organization, the representative will manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned accounts while discovering new customer needs and finding a way to add value to their business.
The main objectives of the role are
• Responsible for developing new accounts through prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing the transaction.
• Manage internal communications, corporate directives and interpersonal relations with operations staff.
• Develop and maintain territory specific competitor information to assist in development.
• Assist management with market trends, budgets, trends and industry standards.
• Control expenses in order to respect budgets.
Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of sales experience
• 2+ years of experience in the sale of construction products or in construction, preferably in the field of masonry
• Organizational skills for good planning and management.
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability and willingness to travel (trips mainly based on the Quebec market)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Well organized and highly motivated to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Master electronic tools
• Bilingual English and French both written and spoken as well as excellent presentation skills
