Full-Time Temporary KindergartenTeacher
at Grimshaw Public School
Grimshaw Public School is an exciting and dynamic school located in the town of Grimshaw, 20 kms west of Peace River. The school serves students from grades K-12. A strong academic program and a full range of athletic programs, supported by the addition of a new community recreation multiplex center, are offered to the Grimshaw Public School students.
One Full-Time Temporary (1.0 F.T.E.) Kindergarten Teacher is required commencing August 28, 2024 and continuing until December 20, 2024. The initial assignment will include teaching Kindergarten in an inclusive setting .
Qualifications:
Training and/or successful teaching experience at the elementary or early childhood level
Ability to differentiate instruction
A demonstrated commitment to student achievement
Effective classroom management
Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
Requirements:
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Provide an acceptance current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Please note, record check must be less than six (6) months old to date of application of your application.
Skills:
Ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom

This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.
Annual Salary Range:
$ 62, 702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division).
