Description
Our client is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer (Java / Springboot) and React / Redux to design, develop, and test features, APIs, and integrations for a pension management software.
Scope: Work on the Government of Canada pension modernization project
1 year long contract to start, remote but must work PST time zone.
Must Have Skills:
- Minimum of 5+ years of full stack development experience using Java (Springboot / Spring Cloud) and JavaScript (React / Redux) and RESTful web services
- Previous experience working with pension administration or financial system software
- Understanding of web usability and accessibility standards
- Eligible for enhanced reliability security clearance
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and testing features, APIs, and integrations for web-based applications.
- Maintaining high standards of software quality with good practices and habits.
- Identifying and troubleshooting errors and performance issues that occur within our products.
- Collaborating with other software developers in an agile team, as well as interacting with other teams and stakeholders.
- Integrating developed code with automated test infrastructure.
- Participating in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.
- Other duties as assigned
